Motor vehicle laws can be complex and confusing. This one-day course breaks down the most common traffic violations officers encounter on patrol and provides practical guidance for conducting lawful, effective motor vehicle stops.

The program also introduces officers to recognizing potential criminal activity during traffic stops. Participants will learn to identify pre-stop indicators, analyze driver and passenger behavior, conduct effective roadside questioning, and develop probable cause for searches—all while staying within constitutional limits.
